Who we are
This website is operated by UV Studios (“we”, “us”), Sydney, NSW, Australia. This policy explains what information the website collects and how we use it. Individual UV Studios products may have their own privacy notices, which apply to those products.
Information you give us
When you use the contact form, we receive your name, your email address and your message. Please do not include passwords, payment details or other sensitive information. The form is delivered by FormSubmit, which processes the submission, runs a spam check that may include a Google reCAPTCHA challenge, and forwards the message to our inbox.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider records technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the website secure and running. The website serves its own scripts, styles and icons. It does not load them from third-party content networks.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies, and it does not track you across other sites.
How we use information
We use the information to reply to your enquiry, provide support, keep the website secure and prevent misuse of the contact form. We do not sell personal information and we do not use your enquiry for unrelated marketing. Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to you and running the website, or on your consent where consent is required.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that help us run the website: FormSubmit for form delivery, our email provider for receiving messages and our hosting provider for serving pages. These providers may process information in other countries. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for 12 months, unless we need them for longer to resolve an ongoing matter or to meet a legal obligation. After that we delete them.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to how it is used. To make a request, contact us through the contact form. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
The website is intended for a general audience and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through it. Each product states its own age guidance.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the effective date. Significant changes will be explained on the website.
