Acceptable use policy
Clear expectations for the people who use our software.
Effective 11 October 2026. Operated by UV Studios.
Purpose
This policy sets out the rules for fair and responsible use of UV Studios websites, software and AI features. It applies alongside our terms. A product may add rules of its own, such as age requirements or fair-play rules.
Respect people and their rights
Do not use our services to threaten, harass, exploit or defraud people, or to distribute illegal material. Respect privacy and intellectual property. Share other people’s information only when you have a lawful basis and the necessary permission.
Protect the service
Do not introduce malicious code, steal credentials, gain unauthorized access, overload services or evade access restrictions. Security research must stay within a scope we have expressly authorized. Do not send spam through the contact form or use a service to automate unwanted communications.
Responsible AI use
Do not use AI features to impersonate others deceptively, manufacture fraudulent evidence or create abusive content. Check output before publishing or acting on it, and be clear about AI involvement when concealing it would mislead someone. Do not leave consequential decisions about people to an unsupervised automated workflow.
Games, tools and media
Respect the rules of multiplayer spaces and any product-specific fair-play requirements. Do not distribute cheats or manipulate other people’s accounts. In creative tools, use source material and likenesses only with the appropriate rights. Do not use utilities to interfere with systems you are not authorized to operate.
Sensitive content and professional use
Do not upload secrets, highly sensitive records or regulated data to a product unless its documentation and agreement explicitly support that use. Our products are not emergency services and are not a substitute for qualified professional judgment.
Reports and enforcement
To report suspected abuse, use the contact form, name the product and include only the evidence needed. We review reports and may restrict or end access when this policy is broken, taking the context into account. If you believe we made a mistake, contact us and we will review the decision.
